Every year the Department is involved in several camps and competitions for young people who have an interest in the field of IT, Science and Technology.

• IT Camp for girls - 3 day camp for girls with an interest in IT and Computer Science, held at Department of Computer Science in the fall break.
• Robot Olympiad - annually held Robot Olympiad for High School Students. The Danish qualification final is arranged by Dept. of Computer Science.
• AUHack is a student driven hackathon attracting participants from various study programmes at AU and from all over the world. AUHack takes place every year in the spring.
• DM in Programming - Every year our students participate in the danish programming championship.
